Project Overview

Objective

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), a nonprofit medical accrediting organization, provides medical accreditation programs and resources in a variety of medical specialties. To better serve the national medical community, IAC wanted to update its website to provide a better structure and flow. The goal was to clearly categorize key accreditation areas while also guiding users through the application process.

Solution

The new website was designed to maintain a consistent visual structure while categorizing content and resources by medical specialty. When a user selects a specific program from the list, they are directed to a subset of the site where tools and resources relevant to that program can easily be accessed. These program-specific subsections also provide distinct paths that help users apply for accreditation, review standards and guidelines, and explore relevant resources. Additionally, the website features direct access to all resources, events, and tools, along with other accreditation and legal service details. By carefully organizing content by accreditation and setting up roadmaps for each accreditation program, the IAC website simplifies a complex system and allows for ongoing resource expansion.
