Doug Fesler
Doug Fesler is Executive Director of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) - the leading professional, scientific and medical society established to bring together clinical and experimental scientists involved in the study of bone, mineral and musculoskeletal research. With nearly 25 years of experience in association management, Doug has a proven track record of growing the associations he has served through reinvigorating membership recruitment and retention initiatives, redesigning annual events, restructuring operations and improving engagement of volunteer leaders. Outside of work, Doug enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife Alison and two young sons Brandon (6) and Ethan (4).
DaleFajardo
As Vice President for Education for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dale Fajardo leads the teams responsible for the Academy’s clinical education, professional development, and publication programs such as the Ophthalmic News and Education Network—the largest web-based compendium of ophthalmic information and e-learning tools in the world and the Basic and Clinical Science Course—the principal global curriculum for graduate medical education in ophthalmology. Dale joined the Academy in 2008 and brings more than 20 years of experience delivering education, business, and process improvement initiatives for startup and Fortune 100 biopharmaceutical firms and the government. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California. During his free time, he enjoys sailing on San Francisco Bay and volunteering with the United States Coast Guard as a Commercial Fishing Vessel Safety Examiner.
